MAPPA is a Japanese animation studio founded on June 14, 2011, by Masao Maruyama, a co-founder of Madhouse. The name of the studio means Maruyama Animation Produce Project Association. The anime version of “Kids on the Slope” was the studio’s initial project. This series focused on the influence of jazz music in the lives of young people. They were where it all started for MAPPA on the path of delivering quality and, more importantly, diverse anime. MAPPA is the studio that stands out in the industry by depicting various genres with high quality. - Jujutsu Kaisen revolves around Yuji Itadori, a high school student who acquires amazing powers as he devours an extremely powerful and ancient cursed object. He becomes part of a covert group of sorcerers to fight evil spirits and learn the secrets behind the curse.
