DC lovers are soon going to get a treat from Warner Bros Japan as the franchise is cooking up Suicide Squad ISEKAI anime. In a recent development, the show’s third trailer has been dropped online along with the theme music and new visuals. The antiheroes squad is all set to rock the anime universe and make a place.

According to the latest trailer shared by Warner Bros Japan, Suicide Squad ISEKAI will make a debut in July 2024. The official release date and time of the anime are still under wraps. We expect to know more about the same as soon as the launch month approaches. Eri Osada is going to direct the anime along with original character designs by PSYCHO-PASS fame Akira Armano. The music of the show is being produced by Kenichiro Suehiro.
Suicide Squad Anime Storyline
Suicide Squad anime is not going to be just another adaptation of the original Suicide Squad story. Instead, it is going to revolve around a completely different story. And the third trailer gave us a sneak peek into the story of the anime. The anime series will kick start with Harley Quinn and The Joker, being arrested by ARGUS, along with other criminals, for the formation of Suicide Squad.
Nonetheless, this time, the Suicide Squad is not on a regular mission, as transportation to another world (ISEKAI) doesn’t sound pretty regular to me. Now, the new world is something where magic and dragons are more evident than skyscrapers. And to top it off, the Suicide Squad is sent to prison as soon as they enter this new world.
They are supposed to finish their quest, but the bomb on their collars is also ticking, and they only have 72 hours. Instead of dying because of the blast, the Suicide Squad decides to die by participating in the battle against the imperial army, standing on the front line of war(nothing new, just Suicide Squad being Suicide Squad here).
