My beloved Elden Ring players, prepare to explore a new world filled with gruesome bosses and a variety of arsenal as FromSoftware Inc and Bandai Namco Entertainment have revealed Elden Ring Nightreign, a multiplayer standalone survival game in the parallel universe of Elden Ring.
As a major bombshell in the gaming industry, fans are going into a frenzy as they have a new reason to grind more than usual.
According to the officials, Elden Ring Nightreign will be released in 2025. Announced during the Game Awards 2024, players must survive three nights and days fighting dreadful bosses and Nightlord.
While Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree skyrockets at the top, Nightreign joins the chat to deliver stunning gameplay with colossal world-building!
To commemorate the announcement, FromSoftware, and Bandai Namco revealed a special gameplay trailer on 13th December, 2024.

Elden Ring Nightreign: What Resides in the Darkness?
Elden Ring Nightreign offers you a co-op multiplayer where you can join forces in a team of three or showcase your skills by defeating the Nightlord’s realm in solo mode!
Being an offshoot, Elden Ring Nightreign focuses on extreme survival through three days and nights, where the player must defeat the Nightlord on the third night to complete the lore!
Unlike Elden Ring, where you get to choose from 10 different classes, players can choose from 8 different characters with their unique skills and abilities.
To explore the lands of Limveld, players must adapt quickly as the map shrinks with each passing in-game night, escalating strategic tensions among players.
Meanwhile, the reward system is the same, awarding you many runes and weapons as you ascend further in the game. Eventually, the map holds sites of grace, where players can respawn, level up, and gear up for further adversaries!
What is Elden Ring Nightreign’s Lore?
According to speculations and the trailer released on 13th December 2024, we can say that the lore of Nightreign divulges into the aftermath of Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree.
As the dark abyss spreads, the universe of the Elden Ring alters with the return of foregone historical figures.
On the other hand, Elden Ring Nightreign might have connections with Dark Souls 3 as the trailer features figures like Nameless King, Fire Keeper, and the corpse of Godwyn the Golden!
