One of the most popular horror comedy manga, Hell Teacher Jigoku Sensei Nube, is all set to get an anime adaptation in 2025. The announcement from the same came via Shueisha that they are going to animate the manga by Takeshi Okano and Sho Makura. Apart from that, Shueisha also dropped a teaser visual and a promotional video for the upcoming anime. And that’s not it; the manga is also getting a one-shot in the September issue of Shueisha magazine, slated to release on August 2, 2024.
As for the manga, Hell Teacher Jigoku Sensei Nube has a total number of 31 volumes. The first volume came out in 1993, and the last volume of the same came out in 1999. According to the statistics, the manga has around 29 million copies in circulation. In addition, it was re-released in 2006 with 20 volumes in play. All other information regarding the anime is still under wraps. High chances are that we will get a proper release date and trailer by the end of the year.

The plot revolves around Meisuke Nueno, also known as Nube, a psychic teacher with a demon hand. Battling monsters and evil spirits to keep his students safe is like just another Tuesday for Nube. The story is a perfect mixture of Japanese mythology and folklore topped with horror-comedy sequences. You will get to see school horror stories, occult practices, and urban legends at the same time.
