Comic Con is full of surprises and the announcements are taking fans by storm. In a recent development, VIZ Media has announced that Rooster Fighter manga is getting an anime and the same is officially under production. It will be airing on Adult Swim (right where you watched Ninja Kamui). The release date of Rooster Fighter anime is still under the wraps. However, VIZ Media has said that they will be revealing the release date along with streaming platform information pretty soon.
The first volume of Rooster Fighter manga came out on May 1, 2021. And until now, the manga has got seven volumes with more in making for sure. Shu Sakuratani, the man behind Rooster Fighter manga, expressed his happiness by saying that all the great writers, production staff, and voice actors are assembling to create the best anime

Rooster Fighter Anime Trailer Breakdown
The trailer of the anime kickstarts by telling us about the year, which is 20XX, along with a gist of what’s happening in the world – Chaos rains down upon the world. Demons run Rampant on the streets, destroying humanity. And then we get to see a demon trying to eat a chick.
Right after that, we get to see our legendary rooster, Keiji, making an entry into the scene and smashing the demon left, right and centre. To be honest, the demon in the scene was pretty similar to the demons we get to see in Demon Slayer anime. A major difference was that this demon was wearing specs (and it was beyond funny to watch).
As soon as you’ll think that the demon is on the ground, the spoiled soul tries to attack our hero with a greenish flame coming out of his mouth. Little did he knew that our Rooster Fighter is a fire spitting mutant chicken. The trailer concludes with the announcement of the anime coming soon.
Wrapping up
One thing I am sure of at this point in time is that Rooster Fighter anime is going to make a mark in the industry with its unique concept. Seeing a rooster fighting demons and going on a killing spree is something that anime fans would love to see (I guess). With anime shows like Sakamoto Days and Wind Breaker Season 2 slated to come out in the same year, it will be interesting to see how the Rooster Fighter anime will compete with the mentioned titles.
